Last night we heard meowing outside the picture window and ran out to find an apprehensive cat that was nonetheless responsive to the availability of food, and was prompty snatched up. She even seemed to like being brushed for a change! Thank goodness.
Merry discovered it got out through the OTHER window in Chrissy’s bedroom. I put out flyers the yesterday in the immediate neighborhood, and another batch today covering a wider area. I don’t know what else to do. No sign of her tags, so she might still be wearing them.
Okay, I did forget to mention that a couple of weeks ago, I ddin’;t realize I had the dog in the car when I went to choir practice. St. Fancis jokes aside, she was very excited (and well behaved) in church. But here’s the sad part — some kids found Nora outside — I think [...]
I had a good time at the Greek Festival tonight, with Mer, Chrissy, and her friend Lucy. I ran into Scott Himenz from 8 Tigers, Mr. Farrauto (Chrissy’s art teacher), and a bunch of people I know from the Hellenic Church. Chrissy and I reminisced about living at Seneca and Bailey on the way home. [...]
The Black-Grey ’89 Beretta is dead, and it will cost too much to fix, having put so much money in it so many times recently. I’m going to have to sell it as is, sitting in East Otto. *Sigh* I never really bonded with the car like I did my Horizon. I got it from [...]
Feeling much better after seeing Chrissie yesterday. Helped her study for exams, and we really worked together much easier than usual. Don’t know if the change in attitude is her, me, or both. And remembered I forgot to record some things in the journal. At least publicly, as there ARE private entries that some of [...]

If was strange going to church without even calling Mary to come with us (Merry’s Uncle’s Wife’s Mom) — she died early in the week. And I found out last night no services are planned at all. Doesn’t seem right to me, but I think that’s her choice. And Tiger is gone — off to [...]
